Must Have Cydia Tweaks For Your iPhone!

So you've got yourself an iPhone and want to put some cool stuff on it.  Good news as there have recently been a couple of good tweaks released in Cydia.  

Bars

This is a free and simple yet very effective addon for your iPhone by the developer phoenix3200. Have you ever been looking for a good signal, but the phone shows '3-bars' of signal? Well Bars makes the signal indicator much more accurate. If you have, say, 3 bars of signal yet the phone shows 4 or perhaps even 2...this will show the exact amount you have (or very close to it) It works by using the last 3 bars to show the 3.5 bars of signal you actually have, even 3.75 and so on. In other words every little increment is shown to help pick the best signal points (or just for the sake of having it as a tweak).    If this is possible.....why doesn't Apple implement this into it's ios to give it that extra uniqueness.   Requires ios 5

Sendany/Recieveany

This tweak is like a bluetooth alternative. iMessage has always allowed you to send messages / photos / videos to and from any iDevice capable ofthe ios5.0+ firmware. Well thanks to well known iphone Cydia developer Ryan Petrich and Nikos Lykousas Sendany and Recieveany are two different tweaks available for download that allow you to send ANY file on your phone through the standard messages app, using iMessage.

Recieveany is free but Sendany costs $1.99 and is available through the Cydia store or just search the BigBoss repository. When ready to send an iMessage, it replaces the camera icon next to the textbox. When you tap it, the usual options come up with an extra 'attach file' option. From here you can navigate the phone through iFile to find the file you wish to send. Other things like Dropbox, MyFile and others can be used.

You can also go into your iPod app, hold down on a song and up pops Ryan Petrich's other (of many) tweak Action Menu which will ask you if you want to open the song in iFile, send to Dropbox or 'Open in iMessage'. A very handy tweak[s], and as i said it's 'like' bluetooth. A bluetooth substitute for iDevices only.
