Apple has confirmed that the iPhone 5 and the WiFi versions of the iPad Mini and 4th generation iPads will be sold in China, starting this month. This comes after Apple has worked to gain all of the necessary approvals from the various ministries in China. The iPads will begin sale on December 7th while the iPhone 5 will, the week after on the 14th. This is good news indeed, given the fact that the iPhone 5 was initially launched a couple of months ago.
The two things that everyone has to wait on now are official announcements for the carriers that are going to carry the iPhone 5 as well as for the prices. To all of our Chinese readers out there, will you be getting any of these Apple products? Will you be importing them from the gray market as the 9to5Mac article points out or have you already?
