Well well...Hello slow news day. Today we take a look at the past few days in the PSP to PS3 conversion community, with a few recent tools that have emerged.

PlayStation 3 Homebrew Developer Estwald is back with a new update to IrisManager.  In the new Version 2.40 update Estwald has taken his recently created Fan Control Utility and has started to integrate this utility into IrisManager

BwE is back. He has released a new version/update of his "BwE NOR Validator" PC App. This version takes it up to v1.24 all new patches and updates for 3.55 and 4.40.

Estwald is back and has delivered another update to his Fan Control Utility for the PlayStation 3 bringing the release to v1.6. Whilst this mod sounds like a great one to keep your PS3 cool, it has had an abundance of bugs that have been causing freezing issues for the PS3 and even causes fans to stop working completely.

PSX-Scene's Nathan_r32_69 has released an update to his widely popular and evergrowing program PUAD GUI.

Scene developer spacemanspiff has updated his open source tool/clone of SceTool, OPENSCETool to v0.9.2.

The shooter genre has certainly become one of  the most controversial game types in history. For those that think the genre is fading fast, here are just a few tips that could help revive it.

A video has surfaced on youtube claiming that the New PS3 model 4000 series has now been officially hacked via ODE (Modchip).  Take this with a grain of salt as it is still not totally confirmed.

While the verdict still remains unclear with regards to the next-generation Xbox and its "always on" features, the PS4 is taking a firm stance in the negative. See the official word here!

PlayStation 3 Homebrew Developer deroad (aka Wargio) has released a new update to the Homebrew Store called PSChannel for your CFW enabled PS3 System. For those of you that have not used this Homebrew Application it allows you the ability to browse and download Homebrew applications from the scene via the Brewology Store directly from your PS3 system. 

There's a small hotfix update available for Team SGK's 4.40 custom firmware. See what's been fixed.
