Continuing to knock it out of the park at the Tokyo Game Show, Sony has also announced new colors for the PS Vita.

You didn't expect that all the fun could last forever right? As of today there is a new PS Vita firmware on the loose and it is numbered at 1.81. What features can this small add-on give you? Not many; but it can block your ability to access Neur0n's VHBL. Let the hack war commence!

Obviously we tend to shy away from any real talk of ISO loading, because we don't really condone illegal activity here at DashHacks. However, it is our job to report the rumors as we see them, so let's talk about the recent explosion of supposed game loaders on the PS Vita.

Most of the hacking news regarding the PS Vita revolves around software hacks. We have seen this with VHBL, OpenCMA and exploits announced by various developers. Reading over at Wololo he has noted a Tweet by Android developer goroh_kun.

Just over a week ago, the famed portable hacker known as YifanLu introduced  us to a software known as UVLoader.  For the skeptics out there, he has released a video showing his efforts today.

Today on his site Wololo let us all in on the big news.  There is currently a method of loading PSP ISO’s on your PS Vita.

Now that VHBL has been released for those on firmware 1.80, you can enjoy what both worlds have to offer. That may have become more of a challenge, if you were one of the few experiencing errors with OpenCMA. Not to worry, there's a new fixed version available.

If you have been waiting for the 3G version of the PS Vita then my dear fellow Canadian you are now in luck.

Following the public release of the game that Nuer0n has used to launch his PS Vita homebrew loader on PSP firmware 1.80 comes the subsequent reveal of the loader itself. As of today, VHBL r160 for Sony's recent firmware update is available today for all to use.

Before the PSN goes down for maintenance tomorrow, you might want to check this nifty trick out, if you have your Vita laying around on an outdated firmware.

The team(s) working hard to bring you VHBL to firmware 1.80 has updated the OpenCMA application to prep for the upcoming release.

Just two days ago, the hacktivist group known as NullCrew reported on their Twitter page that they had hacked into Sony Mobile servers and were able to locate sensitive user information. The full details will tell you if this is a hoax or something that any Sony product user should truly be worried about.

It's no secret that the PS Vita is somewhat hurting right now in comparison to the competition. While the recent 1.80 update finally gave us some PSOne classics on the go, there are still a few more holes that need to be filled in before this handheld truly performs as advertised.
