As many of you may know, a while back after some unfortunate leaks and drama in the PS Vita scene, Coldbird decided to depart from the hacking scene.  With no apparent intentions on returning, the hopes of a working PSX sound plugin for the Vita's CEF were a mere dream... Until now.

It's that time again where numerous PS Vita exploit hackers hold their breath, to see whether future releases of VHBL exploits will still work on the PS Vita's official firmware.  2.12 is officially out, and just like the numerical increment its changes are very small.

The Wii U is having a somewhat "PS3 launch experience" with a large number of gamers whipping out the degrading one-liner "The Wii U has no games".  EA isn't looking to help Nintendo in this situation, with the Frostbite 2 engine sealing the Wii U's fate for future Star Wars releases.

It's no secret that many GTA fans are getting impatient over the lack of a GTA 5 disc in their tray.  With a delayed release date, waiting until September 17 for Rockstar to deliver is quite the feat of patience for some.  GTA's developers have hinted at something however that should satisfy your want for more GTA 5 information, with this promo to hype up the masses.

A while back I updated you fine readers here at DashHacks with some information about a program going by the name of The PlayStop Network.  Since then at version 1.09 the program has come a fair way with new updates, and now at 1.12 you can have a very smooth performing home for your homebrew at a very small 2mb of downloads.

That time has come and gone, the big "features update" from Sony for the PS Vita in the form of 2.10.  I took it upon myself to make a video with a full hands on for the majority of the big features implemented into the update, and down below is exactly that!

PS Vita firmware 2.10 may have knocked out the compatibility of Apache Overkill and it's VHBL fun, but that's not to say that a VHBL on this firmware still doesn't exist!  TheZett on YouTube has just uploaded a video after his own proof of concept on 2.10, showing his personal VHBL running on 2.10 OFW.

The PS Vita has been waiting a while to see an update that brings something new and useful to the table (or pocket?) since firmware 2.00 and 2.01.  Today we see something that would have been great as a day one feature, but better late than never has been implemented into PS Vita Official Firmware 2.10.
